Dave is great. We have used his services for 30 years now. He is professional, prompt and thorough. Should you need your drain cleaned, this is the company to call. They are cost competitive and we could not be more pleased with their services.

I awoke to an overflowing basement bathroom sink while kitchen faucet was running directly upstairs. I first called Dave at American Rooter at 7:30 AM and left a voicemail. I then called the next on my Google search which was Roto Rooter. Their dispatch answered and they arranged for a tech to come to my residence within an hour and would give me an estimate. They would charge nothing to send him out and I would only pay if I agreed to the price to fix the problem. Shortly after talking to Roto Rooter, Dave from American Rooter called, and I told him Roto Rooter was on their way. After telling Dave of the problem and what was going on he told me he would charge me $85 to fix it, and he could be there within a few hours. Dave also told me what his competition was going to try to charge me for the same service. I told Dave I appreciated the call back and if Roto Rooters price was more than his $85 I would get back with him. Roto Rooter arrived at my house around 8:45 and I showed the tech what was going on and where the problem was. The tech was quick to offer to fix it for $191. I told him I was quoted $85 from Dave at American Rooter and I asked him if he would match Dave's price. He said he could not match the price. So I thanked him for coming out and called Dave back. Dave was at my house by 9:45 and had the drain cleared shortly after, for less than half the price of his competition. That about sums it up, it pays to shop. Plus the fact Dave was very knowledgeable on the plumbing system in my home, is a local small business owner, and a really nice guy to deal with bottom line. I know where to start next time I have a drain problem. Just Call Dave!!!...
